Title: Elantra Front end part torque specs
Post by: 2009_Elantra on October 22, 2017, 04:44 PM
Hi Everyone,

Replacing the wheel bearings (well, probably only passenger side now) on my 2009 Elantra. I was going to try and do it myself on the car, but there is apparently not a place in Winnipeg that has the wheel bearing press tool for rental.

Plan B was going to be if the tools were not getting it apart to take it to Piston Ring that can press the old one out and new one in for $35 so I guess that is now plan A.

My question is does anyone know any of the following torque specs for a 2009 Elantra:

Strut to knuckle bolts
Tie Rod bolt
Ball Joint bolt(s)
Spindle Nut bolt

I think those are the critical ones I was hoping to get, but if anyone has the brake caliper mount to knuckle spec as well as the caliper to caliper mount spec that would be good to have too.

Thanks!
