Title: Wheel Identifier
Post by: Juan on November 09, 2014, 08:36 AM
I saw lots of individual threads where people wanted to know the model name of some wheels that they saw. To try to clear up the clutter I made this thread. Post pictures of the wheels below!

If you know any of the specs please include them as well.

Wheel diameter:
Wheel width:
OEM or Aftermarket:
Vehicle Make / Model:
Bolt pattern:

It might also be useful for yourself, as well as others, to put some required information in your first post. For instance:

Wheel diameter
Wheel width
OEM or Aftermarket
Vehicle Make / Model
Bolt pattern

Why not just wait until you have the wheels in your possession? 90% chance all the information is cast into the wheel.

They're p1's and they'll clear basically no big brake setups including brembos without spacers, and come in really weak widths (x7 and x7.5) and high offsets. They're Italian made and cast.

If you already bought them, read here: Awesome! Cool wheels, congrats!

If you haven't bought em' yet, read here: Run! Go buy another set of rota tarmac 2's or GRPA's. Better brake clearance, better sizing, comparable build quality.

Incorrect.  G33's are R33 GTR replica wheels with more agressive offsets (+30 versus +15).  They are however both 9" wide.

For your uses...get rid of them and get a rep if you want that'll clear whatever you need. People used to pay stupid money for those, but they're getting harder and harder to sell. You can still get rid of them somewhat...because more people are now importing the JDM WRX's/STI's and they're brand name.

The bee*r are discontinued and pretty rare. Lmgt4's are fairly similar but also rare and expensive. CST D-specs are also close. Rota p45s are also similar but they're also rotas.

From my understanding they're all basically knockoffs of the lmgt4.

The b5 only has 5 holes drilled in the center whereas the ns01 has 10 so I think it's safe to rule out b5

Shutup Miggy.

My point was that if you're interested in purchasing that wheel there's no point in fixating on the one particular model since they're pretty much all the same thing.  Only one its okay to fixate on are the LMGT4's.  Would probably have better luck overseas sourcing the B5's or the CST's.

Pretty much. XXR moreso than Rota, since Rota makes a point of coming as close as possible to being a replica, but they make their own wheels (Philippine Aluminium Wheels Inc). CST and URAS probably even bought their wheels from the same supplier.

Did they sell them in groups of 20?

The wheels in the link are 16x6.5, probably for Altimas? I can't think of many 1990s Nissans that were 5x114.3 and would take a 6.5" wheel.

Forged and sold through the dealer? I can believe that price. MSRP for a 350Z wheel is over $1,700USD.

Sparco Racing NS2, or a copy. Doesn't look quite right.

You can find some information here:

http://measurespeed.com/bbs-rims-wheel-weight

There's sometimes not a great difference just looking at them, but there can be big differences in construction. See if you can get a closeup pic of the backside.

It's not the CH. I think the RX doesn't have the big center cap. Almost looks like an RG2, but not. Also kinda like RC's but not.

Edit: Similar to the RF 320... but still not quite...

Is the model not stamped into the back of the face?

I zoned out and must have spent at least 20 min looking fruitlessly. I'm stumped.

That's what I'm thinking, just "BBS style" not actual BBS wheels.

The seller is in Edmonton and hasn't gotten back to me or sent me more pics yet.
