Audio, Video & Electrical / SRS Modul Reset
« on: August 09, 2017, 09:36 PM »
I have a 2014 Acura ILX that I repaired and replaced the airbags.  And now I need the SRS light turned off and I was told the SRS module needs to be replaced.

But I've also heard it can be reset, wondering if anyone knows how to do that or someone that can do it?

Exterior & Interior / Undercoating
« on: June 07, 2016, 11:28 AM »
Looking for a good shop to undercoat my Honda Accord, any recommendations?

Hey all,

I know people are gonna say the MR2 is a weird choice in between the Skyline and Supra, but it was my first car I actually bought, and after I sold it there's still a part of me that wants one again.

For the R33 Skyline, needs to be 120,000KM's and under, minimal mods if possible, if parts for safety are available with purchase I'd be even happier.

For the MR2, 120,000KM's and under for sure, minimal mods.

For the Supra, 120,000KM's and under, I have parts from a friend for DOT conversion if I find a RHD.

My price range is up to $20,000.00.

Selling due to purchasing a new car, will sell as is, no safety.

Other for Sale/Wanted/Trade / FS: Schecter Synyster Gates Custom
« on: July 18, 2013, 01:59 PM »
Selling my Synyster Gates custom, plays amazing.
Reason for selling is I have my own BC Rich and Schecter that I have modified and have been playing and this guitar has been sitting and collecting dust.

The toggle switch is a little flimsy but still switches between both pickups, the tone tapping is great when playing on clean tones.

The guitar retailed for $1400 from the Schecter site and locally about $1200.

This colour combination is no longer available.

Paint is still immaculate, no scratches or dents, the back plates still have the factory plastic film over top.

Looking for $400 obo

MVSS 209 is what you're after, that is an approved belt.

Perfect just got the set for the front I'll be swapping them asap, gotta modify the bracket to make them fit though

No, JIS is a Japanese standard; FMVSS (the regulation you're looking for), SAE and DOT are American. CMVSS, the Canadian equivalent of FMVSS, is also acceptable. This is none of those.

As chris stated, this is not "approved" for Canada.

VIU will be looking for a nissan tag that displays either MVSS or CMVSS.

What about this tag, got these belts from a lhd 240sx

Wow nice pick up! Assuming it wasn't local, where'd you buy it?

It was local, seen it post up on Kijiji one night and immediately messaged the guy, checked it out and bought it, the dude gave me a extra set of tail lamps because he thought he would need them to rip apart and mod for DOT but apparently according to MPI if there are SAE or E code markings they will let it pass, I might have to mod the headlights though, I have prelude lights that he also gave for safety, but don't know how far they will go, I would like to have them fully DOT compliant so I don't have to worry about driving it on Sundays

Nice car, but VIU is going to have a party when they see that one.

Taillights are SAE, seat belts are DOT, side markers front and rear, reverse lights are set, the only issue I know i'll have is headlights and those I will figure out, I have a set of Preludes for safety but these ones need a redo, gotta figure out what other skyline owners are doing

To late for mine, it sold today.  Anything under 15k won't be worth it, and if you can get an R34 for 35+k, I would go for it.  However anything that cheap will probably need work (engine refresh, tranny, turbo's).  I could buy one now and store it, but it's gonna cost me at least 40K and that's the low end.  My hope now is that I can get on in 3 or 4 years for 25k.

I'm gonna wait for the R34, not in a rush for that yet, it'll be my grad present to myself lol until then need something else
