It's a GM after all.

They used for lost-foam casting for a few months and switched to sand casting. Problems usually show up after your power train warranty is up.

Cannot find any leaks anywhere at all. That's a scary thing.

My car is doing the same thing.

Worst part is that a porous block is a common issue on my build year.

The cold is brutal for some vehicles. Cold air intake or anything similar? That along with the really cold iat's could be messing with the MAF for mileage.

I know the last Rangers were only rated 1 mpg better than a F-150. 9 just seems really bad.

Sounds like something I should be doing with this thing.

"Free" Google taking the info about everything you use it for. I'm still not convinced my phone isn't listening to me even when I'm not using it.

Too many ads popping up related to conversations I've had with friends with my phone in the room.

You must have made good money to afford 20k fuel cost a year lmao

There's a ton of people that commute ridiculous lengths.

They're usually commuting cause the cost of living is way less where they live.

I could be in a brand new condo in Steinbach for the same as I pay for a old ass ****ty apartment in Winnipeg.

If you own a house the difference in price of property tax pays for the extra fuel used.

Sorry I meant to say permanently after multiple convictions.

EDIT: Basically what I mean is driving in Manitoba and Canada in general is complete bull****. We let anyone and everyone get their licenses, and let them hold onto them through more or less anything just to make another dollar.

Manitoba is super strict on DUI convictions. First offense is at least 10 demerits, minimum $1000 fine, car gets impounded for 30 days, year driving ban and a year of a breathalyzer in your car that costs a fortune monthly. You can't get your license back without a year of the breathalyzer.

But because MPI it's fairly cheap to get your license back. Roughly $1000 a year for a drivers. When it would be closer to $10k with private insurance.

Multiple conviction start to compound and can end in jail time after the second offense. I know an alcoholic that went years without drivers and had to have the breathalyzer for multiple years. It's a couple hundred bucks each month.

Make the speed limits a lot more reasonable. IMO Chief Peguis Trail, Moray should be 100KMPH, make the highway speed limits 140KMPH.

But they'll never change them cause higher speeds = less money for the toys.

Driver training would have to improve a ton. Plus with distracted driving being such a big problem I doubt it'd ever happen.

Also at those speeds fuel mileage really starts to drop in a lot of cars. I know I lose a significant amount.

I usually go a different route or leave earlier but got caught up at work. Don't see why cops don't just sit there at rush hour and hand out tickets like they do in NYC.

Because speeding ticket are more profitable.

Small traffic infractions are cheap tickets.

Why not contact The Brick?

Why make someone deal with your issues regarding their employer during their personal time?

How else are they supposed to learn?

Management sounds like the issue. No new tech will do great work if he's surrounded by slackers.

Planning on doing the same thing with my ****ty Nitto Invo's next week went I change over to my Winter setup.

Also never buy Invo's. Tire shop ordered them by mistake when I ordered the NT555G2's. Invo was a more expensive tire and they gave them to me for the G2 pricing. The Invo was a terrible tire, poor traction, no noise feedback at the limit, super harsh and loud road noise on any surface besides brand new asphalt.  Lack of wheel lip protection sucked too.

I usually wash it and oil it in the summer on a hot day and leave it outside in the sun and if I need to go somewhere throw my regular filter in

Oil never fully dries. It's designed that way. They use a very porous fibre that doesn't catch much and the wet sticky oil is supposed to catch the rest.

Filter oil gunking up MAF's is a common problem.

Like I said. It's not worth the hassle. I'd rather lose a tiny amount of flow to no have to deal with oil. Plus the dry flow filter does a better job at catching particulates.
