GREAT TURN OUT! Was there and glad to see so many ppl come out to support a charity car show!!! LOVE IT WHEN WE CAN DO THIS ALL FOR A CAUSE!! :D

Thank you.
I just got approached(emailed) by 2 other cancer organizations today. Some including stem cell research and cancer related. Gonna be a busy year for me, I guess I'm done with my car as I can't afford doing (volunteer charity) shows and modding a car.

Maybe at the next MAAC meet we can bring something up in regards to all the car related charity shows that (registered MAAC) community people have held. But those are usually during my work hours hence missing last meet.

Overall i think this was a great turnout!  I do think the 3rd round of exhaust competition was a little much, but still enjoyed everything else.

Thanks again Jhay for your hard work!   (And awesome job at getting the judging done so quick!)

Yeah I would agree it was a little dragged out, but now I know on the things I can improve on. Judging I knew was the longest and hardest part, so I wanted to make sure I had more than 5 judges. Had 7 all together.

I have been allowed to do it next year and have been allowed a bigger budget to play with as well. So we will be hiring dancers, more children/family orientated events(stations), more food trucks and even better prizes.

We used not even half the lot and it was full. Next year been given use of the WHOLE entire lot.

Excited as that will be better to raise funds for charity.

Did someone say audio? Id be happy to supply you with some gear :)

Dude...I've been rocking the JDM deck since I got it.
No radio stations, max is prob the french channel. So I've been using a empty station, using a Blackberry hands free blue-tooth device to connect to radio and my phone to play music. So annoying.

I'm pretty sure my rear speakers are home speakers LOL.

Once I figure out what other jobs/careers are out there. As I'm trying to get out of my current job which is changing my shift to 3am-1230pm WED/THUR off....what a joke. Sleeping at 7pm...

And currently on short term disability due to a broken toe(dropped a shop vac on it LOL).

So hoping this year at least.

Well its been such a long time since I have updated.

Car has done through some stuff. Sold some stuff, kept some stuff.
Let's see what has been done since then.

I took a trip to see Evil Evo at Perfect Performance to get some stuff done.

For almost 3 years I have had a stock 4G63t. Only mod I had was a Evo 9 MR bov. But that was like nothing.

But I hoarded a lot of parts at home. It was time to get stuff done.

Here's a pic of my Evo 5 turbo compared to a 9 turbo

Evo 9 Gates timing and balancing belt
GSC 0 tick lifters
Evo 9 turbo
Apexi N1 downpipe
Walbro 255 pump and new fuel filter
GReddy FMIC kit and Evo 9 upper intercooler pipe
AEM wideband
New cam seals
New serpentine belt
Fixed leaky exhaust
Cop kit(ignition)

So car is set for higher boost. I just dont have a boost gauge higher than 1bar and need a manual boost controller and Evo 8 ecu to start cranking it up!

So yeah the wrap was Cum stained white. But I missed my Bimmer, I decided to part with it a few weeks after seeing chad. Went back to Bomex and had the girlfriend help me out remove it.

Threw on a black hood that they had extra, so we traded.

Few weeks later..decided to do some WRC TME livery stripes. And so this is where I am currently with the Evo.

Will be adding a bit more pics later today or tomorrow.

Next is audio and then done for the year. Need to buy a winter beater.

Good luck to all those that attend. Enjoy the show, if you are getting judged take it as a learning experience and keep your ego in check.
I have nothing to say but that.

We will have a bunch of MCM members attending this night. It will be a good one. You have our support.

Sounds like a big success! Wanted to stop by but had too much on the go after coming back from Toronto :(

Thanks for kind words.
It was great, we had Cancercare come down and say a few words...Kyu Grill was very happy with the traffic. Exhaust competition was sick...was loud especially when we have the 2 v 2 team battle. Pair of SKYLINES won.

But of course importantly the funds raised for the charity. So happy that Waverley Mitsubishi is a great dealership and open to the enthusiast community. Especially with their $1000 donation as well.

Next year will be a for sure.

I will need to improve on many things. This is actually a show I organized by myself. My brain hurts so much...or whatever's left. So things didn't go all that well when it comes to judging and winners. BUT THAT IS ALWAYS THE CASE no matter what show...for fun or for competition.

But let haters hate...I do this for a cause. For free.

Great event, was a fun time.
Like any car show there are people that are not happy and some that were. But this is a charity event.

We have raised $1480 in donations and Waverley Mitsubishi is matching us $1000.

All will go towards the Cancer Care foundation MB.

Thank you for any that attended and donated.
