Gold specs, sounds like it's not being applied properly or removed properly. That's pretty easy to do with that stuff.

I've used both, and found that Mothers is more difficult to work with. It is a bitch to remove.

Meguiars wins for off-the-shelf detailing stuff IMO

Definitely noticed that, Meguiars it shall be.

One of the reasons I love these cars is that its pretty simple to get them sounding decent.
So that's what I did, I chopped off the muffler and left the resonators + cat in place and welded in new tips.

Here's my video of my startup. ( I apologize for not filming in landscape  :unamused: )

Winnipeg wheel work maybe? Leland might be able to as well. If the rash isn't bad you could just sand it yourself

I don't trust my own work  <: and it's all around the rim on one wheel. So I'll give them a call.

Just curious if anyone else has used Mother's Carnuba wax? Cause I'm using it and its leaving gold specs all over my paint..
Didn't happen with Meguiar's Carnuba wax.

Thanks man.
Will do once I have moneysss.  The sound system in these are Mark Levinson and the subwoofer is blown...
Such a a pain just to swap out the sub, gotta remove the rear seats which takes about 45 mins.

I want to replace the GS with one of these. Whoever chose that color for the wheels needs a good talking to.

Do it join the LS430 gang  8-).  Lmao not digging mustard gold eh  The previous owner did it..Don't know why he painted over the original chrome

Any plans to change the wheel colour?

Yuppers I'm going back to the original gunmetal chrome, so I can bling bling.

Any suggestions on where to get them coated or where to get the curb rash repaired?  :zlide:

Long time updateee checking in.

Winter driving this thing was a pain in the arse. Even with winters, it was horrible, so I'm pulling out the subaru for winter.
Peeling clear coat on front bumper from stone chips, little rust spots even after getting it rust checked and vigorous washing in winter.

A little salty that I'm seeing Celsiors in the same color combo as my car everywhere now, but it was expected. Maybe I had imported the first (ls430/ Celsior )? meh anyways.

Picked up a rare set of wheels off a guy who wrote off his aristo.

yokohama connoisseur 51c

18x9 5x114.3

These were supposedly made for the celsior and I didn't even know it. Here's some cool links

These wheels are now discontinued and quite pricey, so it looks like I'll have to stick with 18's for now..
There was curb rash and it is not painted an original color.

On the car, needs more lowwwwww.

Interior is looking only cushier.

Next up is the new exhaust, muffler delete coming soon...
Followed by coils, then timing belt next year :zwirly:

My inspiration for this build.

Yeah exactly. There's no need to have Subaru only cruises IMO because you're excluding us without Subarus. Most of them will already be Subarus so why have it like that? Unless you guys think your Subarus are that much better then everyone else's car.

Goes to Subaru owners thread for a Subaru cruise...gets salty

From what I've heard if you keep up with regular maintenance with the Legacys they're actually pretty reliable. The cars going to be my daily driver so I don't plan on going for crazy power.

Regular USDM Legacy's here can be reliable even if they came with the EJ255.
However you're looking at the JDM versions, which came with the EJ208TT, twin turbo setup.
The twin turbo engine only came in the JDM version of this car, and known to be a pain in the arse.
So hence you see legacy GT-B blistein edition and it's only 5k with low km's, but it's usually because they can be a pain once they start causing issues.

I'd x3 on a forester

x2 for Brian @B-Pro Auto JDM importer

He brought in my celsior with no headache. Was very simple.
