I had the same problem on my teg, in my case i pushed back the slave cylinder boot and used high temp grease on the ball that mates with the shift fork. After that it went away. - My noise was random to the day, some days it would squeak every shift or just the occasional. Happened more when it was cold if i remember correctly.

I should add that is the second time I've seen him blasting by me down that street but I gave him a pass the first time.

In too big of a rush to get home from work, none the less not an excuse, I apologize and I'll smarten up. Won't happen again.

Welcome! Would you happen to live in or frequently visit Transcona would ya? I see a dark blue Cruze w/ an exhaust and rather audible BOV cruising around from time to time.

I agree with your turbo heating the fluid theory. I did some reading and people that experienced your issues when the vehicle warmed up was resolved by replacing their clutch fluid for something a little more performance based.

What kinda fluid do you currently have in there, and when did you last change it?

I assume turbo heat is forsure a piece of the problem.

Took the teg out of storage because the location needs the space for their spring/summer business. Changed the oil(went to a thicker weight to reduce oil consumption problem) and parked it at a family members place for a few more weeks.

To me that amount of smoke seems a little off. If you ran seafoam or some other type or engine cleaner I could see that but if not I would start by checking for signs of head gasket failure maybe? Check coolant for oil and vice versa. Easiest way to tell in oil is if it is a milky look. Like Igor said do a compression test, That would be the easier way to pin point if its mechanical problems like a head gasket or it is indeed something like a coil pack. But by the looks of your smoke id lean toward head gasket. Im not 100% confident on this but maybe a coolant compression test might be a good way to test too, but I dont know if having a closed thermostat would affect the accuracy of the test.

Did some reading, and it seems quite a few people had a problem like yours, or close to it. Most people recommended and said you should do a valve adjustment. So i guess i would say to start there and see where it takes you.

Oh forgot to mention, they recently added on a new rink. The old rinks have both dropped down a number, the rink we are usually on is now Rink 3, the one beside it now Rink 2, and the newest one of course is Rink 1. Just so you know when browsing times.

Okay so, the plan is to have 2 indoor events this year minimum, and as many ODR events as possible!

Also here are the ice times for East End:

November:
http://eastendarena.ca/ice/112015

December:
http://eastendarena.ca/ice/122015

If we can figure out two times(or more - and get the money pre-paid), i can probably get a discount for booking this far in advance.

By adding your name to this thread, you have commited to paypal us the $10.
Bringing a dark and light jersey would be gucci, as we're going to have to make teams somehow.

Changed over to winter tires, cleaned out the car, last minute fixed my ABS light that has been driving me nuts, and put the car in storage.

Ill start looking into it, how many ice times do we want this year? I say we aim for minimum 2 indoor events, and then mainly do the ODR events (found the ODR a lot more fun). Ill look into it for end of November / early December.

I got them from Toronto. From what I read on the Forums they are made in Taiwan and even in Canada. I'm 190lbs they are solid! The universal rails will adapt to any car. You just have to make the footings. It's rather simple.

I know you said the price is not final but the fact is for $1800 you could buy real seats and not have the worry of the "reps" made in an unknown place from an unknown company being safe enough to actually hold up in the case of say an accident or other situation. To many unknowns to spend $1800 imo - and if you are open to lower price don't beat around the bush and just post it at a realistic price for a seat that little is known about. Glws
