I changed my gear oil 2 months ago, should I take the transmission apart to go further in depth?

a lot of people recommending NOT changing gear oil in older/unknown history tx's, because it can dislodge bits and pieces that then go and jam things up

Detailing / shop for installing clear bra

I decided to go with Enova's Hexis install, based solely on price. the VPS guy was very attentive but much higher price point.
Milton at Enova was easy to deal with

if I remember, I'll report back on how the film looks after 6-12 months!

hmmm VPS's price came in double of Enova's, for what as far as I can tell is the same product/service

Both individuals seemed nice enough.

any further input available?

Take some Sonax Fallout Cleaner or Car Pro Iron X and spray it on the spot, wipe off rust, apply touch up paint.

I think most places would just paint the whole panel

hmmm applying ironx (I already have another white vehicle and deal with rail dust constantly) seemed to turn the spots from orange to black or disappeared them completely. I can live with that! I'll give it a solid application right before getting clear film applied.

thanks for the tip!

I've got a vehicle with a few stone chips that have a bit of orange starting; don't really want to paint the whole panel. Are there any shops that can apply a basic chip repair? I plan to get clear film applied to the panel after its been sorted out
