Decided to just order parts instead of taking it to a dealership. Picked up a throttle body, map and maf sensor for cheap off ebay, plopped it in and wooo boost again!

Anyone else feel disappointed at the cost vs actual show quality cars at Driven?

I don't know how 70% of the people thought their cars were show quality. So much bad paint and "paint it black and put it back" "builds". Felt like a meet not a show.

There were a small handful of really well done cars and a few nice dealer cars but for a $20 ticket to a car show it was pretty pathetic.
Wait, you're complaining about a $20 ticket?

Arranged for a towing company to take my car from the docks on Thursday so I could drive it home on Friday (cause the docks are closed Friday - Monday)... turns out someone at the shipping company or brokerage f'ed up the paperwork and just didn't call or email me, so I'm stuck in Vancouver getting a tan / sunburn for Canada day.

Just did PMC Tire. Had comparable prices to the lowest I could find, and also had a promo for free delivery, saving about $80.

While hammers provide instant force, try something that provides constant force. Like a c-clamp or something. Whatever will fit. Then every little while tighten it a bit more and push the bolt out?

Hey everyone.

Could someone tell me what the bolt spacing is on the license plates for any JDM vehicle?    Need a center to center measurement if possible.

Thanks!
I know you need an accurate measurement, but ballpark is about 2cm wider total

Where are you going to be located?  I've yet to try one of these out, but they sound like a good time!

We will be off Provencher, in St. B. I'll make a post when we are getting closer to opening.

good points. i have yet to try an escape room so i don't have an opinion on existing quality
Yeah, the quality varies. The good ones are booked for a while, but they've also been open for a while. There are other ones that have opened, but quite a few aren't that great. As in buy some stuff from Value Village, put it in a room, call it a 'theme' and then call it a day.

If you wanted to try one, go to The Real Escape or Enigma Escapes. Then once we open come to mine.

And of course there will be TTI deals.

Sounds like a really cool and fun business, designing and making little secrets within the rooms could be cool, like pull on a book, a door pops open kinda stuff
Precisely that kind of stuff. Might need to pick the brains of some people who fabricate things ...

would have never guessed! good luck with it!

what will separate you from the ones that exist, or is the market getting bigger?
Well one thing to consider isn't just the number of companies, not just the number of rooms, but their quality as well. Also, you can really only do the same room once.

We have done many in the city, and we feel there is room for more high-end ones, so we hope to take it to the next level as much as possible.

Guys need to not do it on the teddy bear's picnic day. It always rains on the teddy bears picnic.

Do you have a list of custom blizzards, off the menu stuff that people could order?

Like if I came by and asked for the "dano", would you then give me a large chocolate extreme bilzzard using the chocolate soft serve?

I was more pointing out the irony of being your own boss so you don't have to take orders from the man.

But then at the same time often being a slave to your own business.

Not that there isn't a reward - I'll be in that boat too in a week.
