Not so far, seems very bouncy, and the fronts are squeaking when I turn the wheel, sounds like rubber on polished concrete. I'm sure they need some messing around with settings but I've already tried quite a few different combinations of settings. I will continue to adjust but so far I'm disappointed. I love the BC's in my Celica so I'm confused as to why these ones seem so crappy. Plus they don't even go very low, the rears do but not the fronts.

Yeah makes sense, I should have been more elaborate.

Uhh there's so much temptation for me to do a crap load of stuff to the Vitz..
then I keep thinking....if im putting money to the vitz for upgrades...why am i not doing it to the Evo instead?

I will 100% drop it next year...but what to do with it??

Guys have any ideas or suggestions I should do with the Vitz?

I mean I can boost it.....but Evo?

But I did get bored of the Evo...maybe its cause I upgraded the turbo and still on stock boost. Maybe next year I'll have fun with it at 30psi....

Up the boost before you judge it for sure! For the vitz, it needs custom plate THEVITZ or somthing like that, just seems catchy as hell, make it a nice daily though, i wouldnt boost, just basic stuff like a good sounding stereo, lowered, wheels tires, maybe some other suspension upgrades. Keep it comfortable and good on gas, but make it look sexy.

To my knowledge(limited at best), knock sensors are a series piezocrystals and springs and stuff that are tuned to "listen" to certain frequencies. Those frequencies are your knock events. As the engine vibrates the piezo creates voltage which tells the ECU that there is knock, and to pull timing. The threads in the block are typically just to hold it and should have no effect on how it operates within a few lb/ft's of torque spec. Only a loose one would possibly cause issues.

Again, to my knowledge

What I read said that if its too tight it could set off false knock events and pull timing, but the error code I'm getting sounds more like the sensor wasn't communicating with the ecu at all, so well find out tonight after I bleed the coolant system and test drive it.

Small update, replaced the knock sensor, had to take out the darn intake to do it, but its done. Found two different torque specs for it, 29ft/lbs, and 33ft/lbs. I torqued it to 33, then after i finished i found another page saying 29, so now I'm worried that its too tight and might be why I was having issues before with the old sensor. best case its works, intermediate would be I just need to loosen it, worst case would be I damaged the sensor and need another.

I also tried to install a Hondata intake spacer/gasket that supposed to help keep the intake cooler by separating the metal surfaces, it didn't fit though, and I couldn't bolt the intake back on with it in place. Kinda unhappy about that but whatever. I'll complain to hondata and see what happens..

If ones bad the other three probably are not far from the same fate. If the price is right and new struts are not too expensive then go for it, or try to find somewhere to rebuild them.
