He's not wanting to change it that much. He won't need to change a darn thing.

It was, Cause it was obviously a shot at chevy.  BTW if you have a block from the factory and you remove it the pinion angle will change. So a angled shim will be needed
Wasn't a shot at Chevy at all. You mentioned Chevy's were like that, I mentioned our Ford's aren't so he knows.

If you want to read into more than that, that's your call I guess.

I took my blocks out years ago. Pinion angle is unaffected. The blocks aren't angled on our trucks. We have literally the same truck, so I don't know why you're trying to say otherwise?

Lmao

That's just my beater car guys don't worry. It doesn't go on public roads haha. Its a field car to bomb around in and phuck **** up in. Just needed a way to keep the door shut while doing shenanigans. That was the easiest and cheapest solution.

That's too much work haha. This was super easy. Just a few self tapping screws and she's good to go. It works great lmao.

Still need to finish gutting the car, then maybe a cage and motor swap. Was gonna scrap it but ever since I got it running again I've been wanting to turn it into a rally car again.

I've still got a spare motor for it, may as well use it.

Too many big words for me.

Here's something I did today lmao

Door handle was broken so you can only open it from the inside. So I took the latch off, so it didn't close at all, then tossed on this sucker. Golden.

some trucks do need the block. I know on chevy's they come angled to keep the pinion angled correctly.
Ford's don't. They put the perch on the axle properly angled from factory.

no idea what your height would be. but no, you dont need the block.

aside from the bump stop pad being built into it. but if your not jumping your truck you should be fine

I only have limited experience with AWD, I've driven my girlfriend Impreza last winter and that thing ate through snow and it had summers on it. I remember one time I wanted to go through a foot of snow and it just went.

With my WRX I've thrown it into a few 90 degree corners doing 80 KMPH+ and I know exactly where I'm going to come out, it definitely makes me feel like I'm a way better driver than I really am.

yeah, see thats how I like driving. fast. Sure, I could slow down with FWD and slide it with throttle and steering, but there's no way you are throwing a FWD car into a corner at 100+ and making it around without a handful of e-brake to swing the back end around.

Slow isnt fun for me. hammer down.

The focus actually understeers far less than any other fwd car I've driven.

And why would I want to slow down..... That's not fun. Speeeeeeed is the only way to go. Full throttle all the time.

Wut? If anything on gravel is easier to initiate and you can do it going way slower.

We get boring fwd cars suck. A stripped out old Focus was never designed to be a fun car and is set up to understeer without much effort.

This is like getting sex tips from a virgin that's only watched porn.

Have you driven a fun fwd? Trail braking and lift off make for tons of predictable oversteer. You can always throttle out. Understeer means your driving wrong/ slow.
Lift off oversteer is fun yeah, doesn't work as well on gravel though as it does on pavement. I have plenty of fun with my old focus, don't get me wrong. I just really want to try AWD.

Some should lend me their Subaru.

I don't do my fun driving on pavement though, so AWD would be way more fun than fwd. Understeering every corner is boring with fwd.

4x4 is best. Because you can pick :D

4x4>rwd>fwd

Like I said never driven AWD so I don't where I personally would put it.

But I imagine I would love AWD. Especially in winter.

Just rip out traction control fuses and have at er

This guy is a good example of what you can do in a FWD car (when you have balls the size of Texas).
I got nothing against fwd. I own two of em. One of them is insanely fun.
