That's awesome haha. I haven't tried doing a burnout.
Ouuu what's this throttle cable mod?

No way in hell am I moving back to the city haha. I'm happy being as far as I am. I can do what I want out there and not worry about some nosy ass neighbor whining about it.

truck just hit 261k. I don't drive it as much anymore. old car I bought in 2014 and it had 103k on it, stopped driving it in the winter of 2015/16 and it had over 270k on it lol.

current focus has  I think 188k. bought it last April with 113k.

This is why I don't have a nice car as a daily lol. I just go through them too quick. throw away cars really.

Throttle cable mod is simple. just needs a couple zip ties to pick up the slack in the cable so it's instant throttle. Mine was pretty bad and I used 3 zip ties to pick up the slack.

Why?
Yeah I don't know if it's because the rear tires on my truck aren't in the best condition but off the light it doesn't take much at all to spin them

60k is being conservative to lol. combined between all vehicles and all driving it's probably closer to 75k-80k. commute alone is 90% of that. plus any other driving I do.

These trucks are geared pretty short and with being so light out back yeah it's super easy to spin them even on dry pavement. heck I can do a burnout with 33's and stock gearing no problem. if you do the throttle cable mod, if you need it, it becomes even easier.

lol no. I just buy cheap tires for the car. plus 60k+ a year kinda isn't easy on tires lol.

with the truck it's on gravel more than pavement, and it's sideways more often than not so I'm pretty hard on tires.

tires last as long as you allow them too haha. I get a year out of mine if I have them on all year long. car tires I get one summer out of summers and about 2 winters out of winters.

yeah those should fit fine. Little skinnier than a 33x10.5 so you should be okay.

I still have to get new summer tires. Still got the studded duratracs on but thats gonna be illegal in a few days lol. gotta find something to slap on there.

Only for a winter setup. I was thinking in future wise running a 32 mud tire for summer. And a 33 all weather studded tire for winter. No off roading use just pavement, so crazy flex isn't an issue.
Right now I have snow tires so when those wear out I was thinking of all weather studded ones cause I can get them in a 33 and biggest snow tire is 32 . Not studded.

By no lift I mean only cranked T bars

depends how wide they go. I ran 33x10.50 for about a week on mine without any issues really. but then I got a killer deal on 33x12.50 so i ditched em and lifted. I guess it would all depend on your wheel backspacing. stock wheels it might get a bit iffy. the alcoa wheels have 4.5" backspacing which might be a bit close.

here's a good guide for future reference

I pay someone because it's not just a t4. There's all kinds of stuff with self employed. Write-offs, things you can claim etc. I ain't gonna do all that shiz. I'll pay someone a few bucks. I've never owed and usually get around a grand back so what's $80 to pay someone that might catch something I'd miss. Worth it.

Well that's not good....

Last year the guy I had do mine (same as my parents) lost all my shiz. And made a bunch of excuses. Didn't get my taxes done till October. It's a good thing I didn't owe.

Needless to say I'm using someone new this year.

I should probably go to sleep now....

The suspense is real.

I wish I could afford to buy your car.

I mean, I've had a mk1 and mk2 all I need now is a Mk3. I'll give you $5000 and a pack of gum.

so I'm having a battery drain issue, not entirely sure what it is so I'm getting a multi meter today and will do an amp draw test to see which circuit is drawing power. I know the battery is good so it's something else. there's barely any fuses and wiring with this car so it shouldn't be hard to find what's drawing power. Alternator is charging the battery. I can boost it and drive around for a while and it charges the battery up just fine. after an hour the volts are down to around 10. sitting overnight it drops dead. not even enough juice for the glove box light.

So I'm going to put the meter inline with the negative terminal once the battery is charged up and start pulling fuses to see what the main draw is and go from there. hoping it's something simple.

Good, very productive, how about yours?

was pretty decent. Got a lot done, none of what I wanted though haha. Got swindled into doing brakes on a friends truck, then installed parts on the lift at the shop so it's "safe" now.
Swapped out a hot water tank and cleaned up the mess from the broken one. then had dinner at my brother and his girlfriends place.

Didnt get to touch the maverick at all which sucked but it was kinda cold so I probably wouldnt have anyways.

there's no way to lock them in place?
