Eh, added weight and wider wheels put a bit more stress on the bearings but people do it.

Won't really gain you anything aside from looks. But if thats what ya want go for it.

I know some people who have lol.

Haven't felt them but reviews say they're a soft material and the description says triple layered polypropylene to prevent scratches.

No idea. Just seems like a better option than taping an entire car with tape.

you can get a car cover for like $80 from Canadian tire. obviously not going to be the greatest cover in the world at $80, but will be better than tape or something for protecting the entire car from road spray.

Yeah you'd be crazy to pay full price.

The Stanley doesn't have lifetime warranty. That's why I went mastercraft this time. I got a Stanley set 5 years ago. It's still good aside from I broke one ratchet by using it as a hammer lol. Other than that the set is still great. Retired the Stanley's to the workshop, mastercraft set will be in the truck.

replaced headlights. Low beams didn't work at all, and 3 out of 4 (headlights and corner lights) lights were held in with zip ties from when my cousin smashed into a deer with my truck. Finally got new lights and slapped em in tonight

New ones look too clean and shiny to be on my truck...

Yeah I can believe that. Google's ads are highly targeted.

I'll be a connoisseur of audio I guess.

"okay google, play Bach while I open this bottle of wine and sit by the fire"

Sounds like something I should be doing with this thing.

Jesus highways are brutal. Pure ice, blowing snow, can't get over 70 without slipping in the 5 ton. Gonna be a long day.

finally snowed again, bout 2 inches but finally!

first thing I did was brush off the truck and slide it all around town lol. you know, had to test traction limits with the studded tires after being used to the slippy slidy mud tires.

town is now filled with S shaped tire tracks hahah

I don't want my highway RPM's to be that high though, 4.88 will bump that up a bit. Stock final drive is perfect IMO. it wont be *quite* as punchy due to slight added weight of tires, but really wont be much difference vs stock. and stock I could chirp the tires from a stop on pavement. Thats plenty enough gearing for me. I dont pay attention to what the internet says half the time because 9 times out of ten it's just "my buddy has this and says this" lol

I did the math, 4.56 will be perfect for my uses and pretty damn close to stock. plus if I stick with the 33's for winter, 4.88 would be way too much.

Changed out the joints on my front driveshaft.

less clunky now. Still something clunking a tiny bit though in 4x4. which sucks because that probably means the front diff gear have some teeth chipping/missing. I do need to re-gear it but was hoping to wait till summer. we'll see how it goes.
