Nah. Just a friendly suggestion to get it changed. RCMP are way more chill than Winnipeg police lol, especially if you're local to where you got pulled over.

Car was just too sexy to be on public roadways.

Nah, registration says it's a blue car, but it's been repainted white.

I was on a backroad and the officer wanted to see the car so he pulled in behind me then when it popped up from their plate reader thing it was supposed to be blue lights went on haha.

No biggie, just gotta remember to go to mpi and switch it to white.

Yikes. Yeah thats pricey.

Maybe a bit more than $10 but I don't think I paid more than $50 for both. Was a while ago, I don't run the sway bar anymore.

Just disconnect the sway bar first, if the noise stops, you know its the endlinks. Easier than throwing random parts at it and hoping it'll go away
True, but the rest is all new, why not do the last two $10 parts as well?

Yup. I've used a lot of ideas I've seen on roadkill lol.

If it seems stupid, but it works, it isn't stupid.

Eh, they're easy to get at to cut.

Cutting out the outer sleeve of the leaf spring bushing was a pain but even that only took 10 minutes.

Had to make about 4 cuts in it from the inside, and use a chisel and hammer to knock pieces out lol.

Having a plethora of tools is very nice. Can always find something to make it work.

I pretty much have a whole new suspension on the truck now lol .

May as well then. 5 minute job really if the bolts aren't seized. I had one get stuck on me and I had to sawzall it out but not hard to do.

I'm having problems tracing this problem with my truck. When I back up it's more apparent. But when I back up and turn the wheel , to back into a parking spot , I hear this clunking noise. I originally thought it was my CV gone bad.
So I recently changed the front CVs. Ball joints, and tirods. But it's still there. Could be either swaybar endlinks or U - joints? What do you think

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Sway bar links are cheap and easy to replace. If it was a ujoint it would do it no matter direction. Sway bar you'd think would too though.

Swap the front end out for a solid axle and lift a bit more.

The IFS wouldn't last long with 37's. I'd be surprised if it holds up more than a year even with 35's lol

No idea, rough guess would be 42" from ground to center of wheel well opening. I guess I could measure from ground to rockers tonight.

35" tires are about 34.5" mounted. And top of tire to top of wheel arch opening is about 7.5".

More flex, stronger, can hold more weight. Its a win win win.

Its kind of nice not having a car with flawless paint lol. No need to worry about being super careful when washing.

The bushings wore out on your shackles?

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I replaced the shackles with longer ones, and one bolt got stuck in a leaf spring bushing. No one sold just the leaf spring bushing, but piston ring had a shackle that included the leaf bushing, so I had to get it all.

Leaf spring shackle kits. Only needed the bushings but no one had just bushings in stock. Couldn't wait so I got the whole kit lol.
