Just went on a tour of the valve hall. Holy. ****ing. ****.

They've got a ton of transformers infront of the building that are separated by blast proof walls incase it fails. The level of bonding inside the building is crazy. They've got bus bars going around every room and all the stairs are bonded as well. (Bonding as in grounding)

Well.. do u need to?

I'm both bored, and still blowing my mind how cool this is... So since @Igor and @jordisonjr are afraid to google things I say (fair), I'll just post it

I'm currently working on this site:

Which is here : (Top Right)

This is the most northern I've been.

Tomorrow we're doing a tour of the job site, including the valve hall, which is the reason why I'm so pumped because it looks like something straight out of science fiction.

Which will look something like this when it's done.

This converter station will pretty much take AC voltage generated by the dams, and change it into DC voltage and shoot it down Bipole 3 to the Riel Converting Station which is off of Dugald road outside the perimeter.

Oh yeah, it's also going to be 500,000 Volts.

I also drove over the MB Hydro Limestone dam on the way to the camp, the thing is ****ing massive, and they had the spillway open since the water was so high. I can't properly describe how awesome it was to see the spillway going.

TL ; DR - Just Vints things :vints:

Any chance of getting some clothing put aside? I can e-transfer or whatnot. Won't be there to get any.

Lmao usually you're not wrong.

That's part of a electrical converting station. It looks straight out of sci-fi

Just finished packing for 3 weeks of fun in the sun. I think I've exceeded the 70lbs baggage limit though. Not too sure how they expect us to pack all our **** plus tools and keep it under 70 lbs.

Post says Kosei wheels, but picture shows Rota wheels?

Yes Vince they're from Raceseng, looking for a chunky gated ones tho. With that being said, not even sure if I should since the OEM knob's 2nd gear became too close to the ebrakes when I switched to Boomba sts. Gonna take a photo later and show ya.

are those Raceseng copies? I wouldn't spend that much on a shift knob either.

They do have cheaper options though..

The unpainted silver ones are $95 USD ~  $130 CAD, which is still expensive, but still cheaper than $250

I know what I'd rather drive.

Lot less room though, and I feel like it would be a worse winter car although I'm probably wrong.

Canadian pricing for the new Si is out.

Sedan is $30,260
Coupe is $30,660

Kinda high.. Was expecting it to be around the $25k range, but I guess since it now as a  :zpin: turbo  :zpin: they want to charge more for it.

Also.. According to Honda's website 205hp@7.5k, 192ft-lbs@5k, regular turbo civic is 174hp@6k, 162ft-lbs@1700-5500. I think it's the same engine though, not like before where you got a K20/K24 instead of the R18.

It doesn't come with any of the Honda safety stuff that the other higher-trims do such as "Collision Mitigation Braking System", "Forward Collision Warning", "Lane Departure Warning", "Road Departure Mitigation", or "Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC)2 with Low-Speed Follow (HS*)", or "Lane Keeping Assist System".

Doesn't have automatic wipers, or LED turn signals on the mirrors, or even the remote engine starter that the EX,EX-T and Touring come with.

Lastly, on Honda Canada's website there isn't the $200 option for summer tires which is lame.

Maybe by the time I get back from Keewatinohk there will be some here to test drive.

So it was the stem? Did they check it for leaks too or just replace it?
I have no idea. I think they just replaced it since they couldn't find any leaks.

They checked it for leaks and checked the patch and it was fine, so they pulled the tire and wheel apart, put a new tire stem on and resealed it. Just checked to see if the pressure was dropping and it was at 38.5 PSI

Finished cad welding training, walked outside and the tire that KalTire just patched was completely flat.

So, pretty sure these are the new HFP wheels for the new Si.

College Hills Honda lists them as 19", but since they're not on Honda's website, not 100% sure.

I like them over the usual Si wheels

Yeah, but that's not what he's wanting to do, he's asking for an invalid safety lol. On a public forum..

Completely different than putting in approved lights then swapping out after getting a valid safety.
Gear down.

I had a similar situation when I had to safety my car in the fall. I had to find a shop that was forgiving towards lowering springs as Honda, CT, Kaltire and a couple others would have failed my car since I had them.
