It was only running on 2 1/2 cyclinders, a compresson test was done by Dave/Boostfreak and iirc two were "ok" one cyl was 60psi and the other was about 100psi.  Still pulled strong tho ;)  He figured something was up when we went to Gimili and raced against each other and he was only in the high 14s/low 15s 1/4mile.

Would be nice as Waverley is supporting the BBQ.

Also I can sell things from Nissan and Chevy and Waverley...

As far as selling cars, my nicest ones so far were a 2012 Mercedes GLK, two 2015 Murano Platniums at the same time and a 2015 Ralliart!

Luckily some Evo 8 and 9 parts fit the 5..such as suspension bits, intake and the bov..probably more for the 8 as the 9 has the 4g63 MIVEC

Ok guys, some of you may have seen that I picked up the car on Friday.
                    Here's that pic again.

And here are some pics today with  a quick $2 wash

Driving it so far is awesome! Yeah the BMW was RHD but auto...so the manual transmission is fun!

Only place with rust I found so far is behind the spoiler on the right side. Some small dents and scratches. The interior door cloth is hanging on all doors. I've asked Evo V owners and majority of them just ripped them out.

First thing I'll prob do is get a new deck, as the one in it right now has only 1 station found. Its the french station. Miss the sound system I had in the BMW but for a car like this I will just go simple deck and good speakers.

Went down to @Sharino place today to get some work done. Always trusted his work on my E34 so I would as well on the Evo.

                            - oil and oil filter changed
                            - spark plugs
                            - air filter
                            - got the fogs set as DRL's

Also for those that don't know. I bought @CodyLoewen his Enkei WRC Tarmac's
Getting them reworked and powdercoated at Ultimate. Going to be a bit of a wait, but perfect timing as I also need to change the tires for safety.

Also bought a set of coils. Tanabe Sustec Pro's.

Hopefully the rims and tires are done before the 18th and my custom plate gets approved and delivered. As that's when my temp is up. I can buy 1 more as I just purchase once so far.

And a shot with my buddy Shaun and his RSTi

More progress today in maintenance and a step towards safety

Met @Rush today at my work so he can pick up the Evo to do the brake pad (all 4) change and repainting the calipers.
They ended up STi pink due to time and wear.

Wlad did an amazing job with the painting! The rears had tiny lettering for the Brembo stickers. He didn't have the perfect size so we used what he had and just went without the logo.

It's different, as this is my very first F.I vehicle. The x5 is a beast, but this is as well.
@Sharino and @Rush have driven it and feel its a quick ride.

Also I drove a BMW with a m20! LOL even Sunfires and Cavaliers can beat that.

Ok so for those that dont know..i bought @CodyLoewen 's rims a few weeks back.
Took them to Ultimate Wheel Works(happy with the first time i dealt with them years ago) to get the reworked and powdercoated.

I must say I am amazed with their work and the staff was friendly. Work was done 2 days before the quoted finish time.
Also since I live super close they were going to let me store my stockers there for a few days and get them later.

I was unable to get the mounted on the car, as when we tried. Didn't realize I needed tuner lugs.

Here are some pics..I will need to get Enkei decals for the rims as they were taken off for P/Cing.

Wheels look awesome! Oh I completely forgot that they don't necessarily need tuner lugs but at the very least you need a very slim socket to get in there, the fit is incredibly tight.

It's the lugs that are on the Enkeis I have now. They have some kind of wide base so it wont even get in the hole(thats what she said). So I need to grab some thin lugs.

But I can't wait to get the rims on and when the coils come in...it'll look sweet!

Oh wow what size are those lugs that they won't fit?  Mine fit barely and had to go find a very specific socket to get them torqued on.  I look forward to seeing them on the car!
