Anyone got some good tips for general cleaning of the car?
What's a good way to clean the engine bay, exhaust tips, rims etc?

We already have many threads about this topic. Might want to make a quick search.

This is the best all around tip thread. You can search specific things like engine bay and wheels.

Sometimes when you are searching for something in specific i do find it to be a little bit harder  finding the exact answer.

In the past i have used Carnuba wax on wheels, Mothers metal polish on exhaust tips (DO NOT USE ON CHROME COATED TIPS - It WILL eat away at the chrome!)

I use water that comes out of my long garden hose. I also finger my belly button whist getting the car all wet. Once the car is lubricated enough I come all over it like a soapy wash mitt. I then pass out on my lawn and have to pay a lot on my next water bill.

I also find helpful to wear a plaid shirt tied up in a daisy duke.
