Just in the process of swapping my old OEM rotors out for my evo iv and my dust shields seem to be rubbing a bit against the new OEM rotors. Has anyone just completely pulled them off? Mine look kinda gross and don't really see the point of leaving them on if not really that necessary.

    probably better with our climate/roads to keep brake shields on, sand/gravel/dirt  can kill your brakes much quicker without em.

        I needed clearance for my brembos in the back, so I cut off the amount of dust shield I needed to in order to clear the rotors.
