Did a couple brake rotor replacements this summer and was wondering if there was a proper way to dispose or recycle used rotors. I don't suppose you can do anything with well-used brake pads, is there? Let me know what y'all have done!

Any metal recycle depot.  General Scrap most likely is your best bet.

    pads - toss them out.

My local mechanic shop has a bin at the back for oil containers and scrap metal and parts.

I leave them at the edge of my garage in the lane and in the morning they are gone.

I used to drive on used rotors to lift up a lowered car to fit a jack under there.
