If the car would’ve rear ended the van you would say well the van took my lane, and autopac would say yes but you didn’t stop when you should’ve, you sped up and was not being a defensive driver.
Both vehicles are at fault, I don’t know why you have such a hard time accepting that.

Far too many assumptions going on here - I did not speed up to "beat" the lights. I sped up after changing lanes away from the slow van. As far as the space between me and it is as Dano mentioned - bigtime fisheye effect. I was far closer to it than it appears.

Little did I know that clip would raise such a discussion - not my intent.

MadBuzz41 must be a troll, because nobody is that stupid unless they are inbred or something.

Anytime anyone change lanes into somebody else it is 100% the lane changer's fault. Source: MPI.

**** you for saying stupid and an inbred.

Theirs multiple things that come into play. If you have such a beef with it go to MPI and talk to an adjuster and get the final verdict.

Oh great driving god - please tell me where I'm supposed to turn a corner?  Over the curb? That's the only way I could've made that corner without hitting him in the side.

Looks like theres 2 right turning lanes there,  and you were going into the correct one by 2nd review. He just cut it sharp and probably didnt see you zoom up so fast. USually people slow down for 90* turns lol

                          wowww

I've always wondered why people (first video) aren't looking all around them when driving. Yes, totally the red light runners fault, but I mean if the guy who got hit was looking all around, he would have seen **** was gonna happen, I've avoided so many accidents like that. ****ty deal though.  at least there's video of it

For most of my life I've driven vehicles without ABS.

Instead of blaming the car, it was pretty clear it was the driver who thought they could make it. If they locked it up at a normal distance, they wouldn't be that far into the intersection.

it was pretty greasy out there today. wouldn't take much to slide that far with locked up brakes.

Clueless wasn't blaming the car, either, he was obviously just making an observation that the ABS wasn't working...

To be fair GM's ABS loves to lock **** up. Even slowing down from a good distance in 4wd the past week I've slid into the intersections cause the city believes having polished intersections is better than sanded. And yes 4wd helps stop faster

I'd rather wheels lock up in 4x4 than have abs work.

According to MadBuzz41's inbred logic there are multiple things that come into play and that black civic is 50% at fault.

him laying on the horn probably made things worse and inconvenienced him even more. Dude was just letting cars go through like he had all the time in the world just to spite the driver. smh

I mean, you can't really do anything in that situation other than lay into the horn and shame idiots.

IMO if you block the box, illegally change lanes, cannot merge properly you 100% deserve to get a ticket. Drives me absolutely insane when people think they're the centre of the world and don't realize there are other drivers around them.
