What if you were doing burnouts at tim hortons and hit vtec so hard that you went back in time and it never happened? just saying, anything could happen.
My understanding is you have to attend court to contest a ticket in the same jurisdiction as the ticket was issued. Example, if you get a ticket in Brandon, you can't get a court date in Winnipeg to fight it.
The burden is on them to prove you're guilty.
I think you can request it be scheduled just about anywhere in MB. I've heard of people scheduling the court location way out of town and the officer not showing up and them getting out of the ticket. Not sure if truth, but I've heard is a couple times.
I wish it was possible @Dan, i could go back in time and tell your dad to wrap his willie
Yikes, thats pretty mean bro. I never took a personal shot at you!
Im not your bro... And you started this...cant take the heat get out of the kitchen
Stop derailing this thread you two.
Sorry Ken.On topic, if you get a photo radar ticket then go to court and lose do you get demerits? Or is it still no demerits and just the ticket needs to be paid?
No demerits on photo radar.
But arent you technically admitting to being the driver when you appear in court? I was under the impression that the reason you didnt get demerits was because they cant prove who was driving.
You could say "yeah i got this ticket, wasn't be driving the car but i'm fighting it". Regardless you won't be getting demerits. How would you fight a radar ticket?
You can't fight a photo radar ticket, as per the guys at POINTZZZZ. They won't even take your case if it's photo radar. You can get the ticket reduced if you go down there, but they will not throw it out.
I'm not a fan of blowing for a long time anyways ; )
