A couple weeks back someone on the Wise up Winnipeg page fought a radar ticket and won.
They somehow calculated the fact that they didn't have enough time to stop at the speed they were going (red light ticket) or something like that, and they actually won.
I could see that.

Most of the traffic lights have a yellow that lasts a certain period of time. Presumably to allow someone who is traveling at or under the speed limit to stop before it turns red.

If the yellow is too short for a big intersection then they could be caught in the intersection when it was red.

It only activates if you enter the intersection on a red.

I faught a photo radar ticket, didn't bother to show up, and won.  The cop who did the calibration on the intersection camera could not be bothered to show up so the crown could not prove anything.
