Found out the almost hard way this morning (just got a warning) that you have to stop for a school bus even when you're coming from the opposite direction, even in a 4 lane situation

    You have to or you must stop when school bus is loading one 2, 3 or 4 lane doesn't matter unless there is a middian lade

      That is correct. All lanes of traffic must stop unless their is a meridian there. So if a bus was going west down portage and stopped and let its sign out, people going west bound must stop, but not the people going east.

        Why we wasting our money ahah stop giving free money to they city there is alot of rules we thought in driving school
        1 complete stop at stop signs
        2 Slow down and move over its the law for emergency vehicle  such police car ambulance tow truck etc
        3 Stop for school bus hahah
        4 don't drink and drive

          Sad thing is I never took the written test lol (so I didn't know)

          At the time I moved to Canada, if you had a licence from France or Switzerland, all you had to do was give your licence to the DMV (was on Regent at the time) and they give you a Canadian licence , that's it!!.
          But now I realise that wasn't such a good idea. I think they stopped doing that though

            This still applies in some cases, bypasses the written and goes straight to the road test.

            I don't know about France or the Swiss tho.
