Hey my clutch just started slipping on my Legacy GT a couple of days ago. Seems like it's starting to slip more the more I drive it (or I'm just being more paranoid with it) so I want to get it changed soon. I'm going to call the dealership but it will be pretty expensive so I want options. Does anyone know any good shops that can do a clutch replacement and have experience with Subarus?

You can give speedfactor or option plus a call. I'm sure they have done subie clutches before.

Thanks, will do. Jim Pattison Subaru quoted:

      Parts $1400!?
      Total $2400

Looked at some stuff on Legacygt.com, going to buy the Exedy FJK1001FW OEM replacement with lightweight flywheel for ~$850 CAD shipped and get it installed somewhere.

Yeah you'll pay a premium going to a dealer. SF or OP would be significantly less

If you can wait @Wagonman , hit up Josiah. He's legit.

He's also cute as hell, but sadly he isn't single.

Ordered the parts so just waiting for them to come in then I can get this done. I think I'll stop driving it for a bit until they arrive. @omaid is that $600 parts AND labour? where was that?

Jackson Auto Sport, Speedfactor, and Nemesis Performance are all good choices. You shouldn't have a problem going to either one of them.
