I am looking at getting my panel updated/upgraded this fall, then kitchen reno next spring. Does anyone recommend a company/electrician that does good affordable work? Zappy-Zappy I don't like to mess with.

      thanks for the tag.

I'm a 3rd level apprentice atm, so I don't have my commercial license/Red Seal so I'm unable to pull permits for a service change.

Basically, no permit, means no inspection, means no hookup from hydro.

Why do you need a service upgrade for a kitchen reno? What are you adding?

As for companies that do it, I'm 95% sure my company wouldn't want to.

Your best bet is to just call around asking for a quote. I'm not too sure who does good/bad rezzy work.

If you're getting a new panel, I recommend you get a Square D.

Thanks all. Found someone through work. Just need new panel cause I got no room in current (16 slots all full)

@Vince I've heard that my old pushmatic breakers can be resold. worth it?
