Im assuming if you are looking at the 15+ WRX's if you are comparing to the BRZ. I have the FXT that shares the same drivetrain as the WRX (CVT
), albeit, the valve spring and cams are slightly different between the two.
1: Fuel efficiency is great
2: Twinscroll is quick to boost and pulls harder and quicker than a STI, although not as fast in the ¼ mile
3: Great supply of knowledge for tuning and aftermarket support
4: The FA20DIT platform can hit 300WTQ/WHP with minor bolt ons and a good tune.
Cons - IMO:
1: Stock map sucks
2: Stock throttle mapping is peaky and sucks
3: Rev Hang
4: Equal Length Headers
1: Accessport + Tune
2: Muffler Delete Axleback
Thats all I can contribute since I havent driven a new WRX or BRZ
