1995 Mercedes E320 Wagon
180,000ish miles
silver exterior; grey vinyl interior
automatic
IM for more info

Price: $4,000 OBO

IS THE VEHICLE SAFETIED: nope.  might need to put stock suspension in, and newer brake pads.

Up for sale is my 1995 Mercedes-Benz E320 Wagon, 180,000ish miles... don't really want to sell, but have too many projects. Hence the price. Car has tons done to it, and still needs a bit more work.

Can include 17x8 et35 Audi Wheels shown in pictures with it for an additional $600, will come with stock wheels and tires, have a set of winter tires to go with car (included in price)

Since owning it for 2 years, head gasket was done, head was sent off to be checked, new radiator, new front and rear rotors and pads, new engine wiring harness (90s benzes had biodegradable wiring harnesses in the engine bay), updated throttle body, new MAF sensor, new alternator, new battery, lowered suspension with new shocks.

Lowered suspension has BMW E36 struts up front with cut Vogtland Lowering springs (struts are 2" shorter than stock benz so the shock doesn't bottom out); rear suspension has belltech lowering shocks from a nissan titan (again, measured suspension travel and ordered what fit the travel I wanted)

Still have stock suspension w/hydraulic rear suspension in good working order, have an extra rust free fender for front passenger (needs to be color matched), new speakers, have a rebuilt power steering pump (nothing wrong with one in car, but it's a tandem pump for the hydraulic rear suspension) that will be included. New ignition switch and updated heater controls, new heater fan. I've put maybe 10,000km on it over two years. Probably forgetting a few other things.

Car drives very nice.

Things that need attention: Sunroof works, but motor is broken (you can open manually, and close with the electric switch); in park or neutral it idles at 1500rpm, needs a new ECU ($200 or so off ebay, haven't sourced one yet); few rust spots that need attention but are not very big, passenger rear window needs a regulator and motor.  A/C works, but needs new condensor (leaks - on pelican parts for about $170).  Transmission fluid could use a flush, have filter and gasket that will go with the car.

Overall I'd rather keep it, but have too many projects. Will accept trades for gold, american cash or german bearer bonds... canadian dollars as well.
