Hey looking for borrow a rotary compression tester for this weekend, driving out of town to check out a car. Would make it worth your while of course.

    Use a regular compression tester with the schrader valve removed. Won't be precise, but should give you 3 regular pules of pressure per rotor per revolution. Two high , one low is a failed rotor tip seal.
    Don't loose the valve - it's not the same as a tire valve.

      Yeah that was the plan if I couldn't get a hold of one.. picked one up at princess auto, although it doesn't seem that there is a removable valve on it. I'm hoping I can just hold the pressure release button as I am testing and it will have the same effect?
