I found a set of KW V1 coils used but with a leaking strut. I'm wondering if anyone has had struts rebuilt for them? Were they done locally or sent back to the manufacturer?

Is it even worth the potential cost?

@cluelessk We've had our Ohlins re-built by Factory Ride Suspension (in the FXR store beside IKEA) but I don't know if they service KW's.

If ones bad the other three probably are not far from the same fate. If the price is right and new struts are not too expensive then go for it, or try to find somewhere to rebuild them.

KW has lifetime warranty so wouldnt sending it back to KW and let them take care of it for free rather than out of your own pocket book?

Far as I know no one in the city is a authorized KW rebuilder.
