Hey guys, it's Deven.
I'm making this Journal for my 2001 5th Honda Prelude, mostly for the purpose of tracking my own progress, but also to share with you.

Some things about the condition it was purchased in:
  • 23XXXX kms
  • H22a4 engine
  • AEM cold air intake
  • Absolutely clean of rust
  • A few scratches and a large scrape in the paint
  • If you want more info, just let me know and I'll update

Alright, time for a little story.
I just got my intermediate license in July, and my dad, sister, and I all flew out to Vancouver to buy this car, and to visit family as well.
The guy that owned the car previously was a RCMP officer in North Van (iirc). He was really cool about everything and made sure everything was good for our drive back.
It has a pretty bad scrape on the front bumper which I hope to clean up soon, but other than that the car runs and looks beautiful.
My dad drove it all the way back home, since I was still inexperienced driving manual, and I give him props for holding it out for a 20+ hour drive (not all at once though, took us 2 days).
Since the car only had temporary insurance, I had about 3 days to experience driving the car, and driving a manual transmission. It's much more fun and engaging than automatic.

We just got it safetied, and right now I'm currently sitting on an unregistered car. I plan on doing many things in the future, but I'm quite content for now.

Here are some pics I took in BC.

Name the parking lot. LOL

Anyways, thanks for reading the introduction to my Prelude's Journal!!
I'll try to keep this as updated as I can!
Hope to slowly grow in knowledge, and I hope I can make myself a part of the community!

Nice pictures, I was actually just out in BC for a road trip and it was so beautiful there. You'll be a pro no time with a manual, it's so much fun to just row through gears!

Super late, but here's a pic of the engine bay.

My buddy also gave me the wing to a Prelude he sold.
Mocked it up on mine and damn it looks good.
Still contemplating whether I should put it on or not.
