Ok, so i picked this car up in November. just as a project. Shaun saw this on WpgHeights, and told me about it right away. and then, within 2 days i got it. Like ive stated before, i AM only 15. i have no job at the moment (since the snow melted) so things are going quite slow. so slow in fact, that i havent done anything yet. Planning on bringing it out of storage and into my yard so i can get started with body work within the next 2 weeks. Money is tight, since i am funding for it all on my own.

Here are some pictures from when i picked her up;

I have all the body parts, they were just taken off for the time being. i will post more pictures as i progress with my project.

Dont get mad if i dont post for a while!!!

    First things first, i need to take my rocker panels off, bring them to my school, and weld the piss out of them. hahahaha

      The dude i bought the shell off of also has an SR20DET sitting in his garage, He isnt selling it, until I (yes thats right I) buy it. no-one else. He doesnt want to see this engine go without this car, since he was already going to put it in there. Here are some pictures of the Spicy Rebuilt SR;

      as you can see, it has the top mount turbo manifold. for the t4 turbo :D

                          Yea, haha Shaun Told me about this and i hopped on it right away. (Thanks again Bro!!) Forsure i'll be doing the rust patches on my own. im in Aircraft Welding next year (the grade 12 advanced welding course, in grade 11. awyea) So i'll bring in my rocker panels, and weld those, and then theres just the spoiler holes i need to bondo, There is a little bit of rust on the rear driver's quarter. not too worried about that.

                                        Finally glad to see that he sold this car. I was gonna buy her a few years ago off Heights, then back last Summer when he messaged me if I was still interested. Solid build on that motor though, he put money into the proper stuff for it. And sucks to see the rockers rusting out now, I knew they would when I first checked out the car.

                                        S-Chassis are notorious for rust on the frame rails under the car, strut towers in front and rear and rockers as well as the rear quarters. I do remember this one having rust spots on the frame rails in the engine bay, the drivers side just in front of te K-Member I do believe.

                                        Fix any and all rust now man, especially get around to stitch welding all the seams in the engine bay. You will be glad you did. The strut towers will have a tendancy to seperate if and when you lower this car due to the stresses on them. Few of my 240's have done this, stitch welded and had no problems what so ever.

                                        Subscribed to this and gonna keep checking for updates. Need ANY help at all, let me know.

                                            Yeah I seconed that, damn Nissan... What were they thinking...? Also have a look at that trunklid and see if it was properly welded up for the spoiler delete... Nissan made the car with a spoiler... It was foam and therefor is a cause for a lot of rusting issues to, usually huge holes in the lid. But it might be underlying since I dont recall that passenger rocker being so rusty or even rusty at all last time Id seen this car. That was back in 2008-2009? Mind you, but still.

                                                  along the edge where the towers connect to the frame rail is a bad spot.
