I guess this thread is a little old, but I'm gonna post in here anyway. I want to get my jdm fozzy safetied before spring awakening but I'm having trouble finding a shop to do it. Does anyone know of a shop that won't shy away? I've heard it's getting harder to find. I'm not looking for a bs safety. I know I need to put in new headlights and I'm not sure on the exhaust, everything else should be fine according to mpi's revised handbook. Sent from my SM-N910W8 using Tapatalk

Having new shops to check out on this thread would be nice. Unless it's some secret fake safety shop.
In for a BS safety
I thought you safetied your car already? We talked about it awhile ago
I recommend Duals exhaust, i had my Supra safetied there, exellent customer service, and they had just safetied 4 other jdms a day before they did mine. Fair price too.Basically the title. I've decided it might be nice for my car's next owner to buy the car already safetied so I'm just wondering if anyone knows of any JDM friendly shop that might safety my car without pulling any wiseguys on me. Thanks.
Accuracy Vital Automotive have done many RHD safeties. They are fair, and respects RHD enthusiasts. I know of 5 satisfied customers. just sayin'
Will be going in to get my JDM bugeye done this week or the next, might check these guys out!
You are the CEO of Toptier McRae555
@Meboosta let me know how it goes, will be taking my new car there for a safety.
lmao I went to Birchwood Toyota to safety my jdm sti. Passed with flying colors
Was it buy the book or did they look the other way on some stuff?Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I'm not a fan of blowing for a long time anyways ; )
You shouldn't need a "fake safety" just because its a JDM car. The previous owner had it safetied at one point, you should have no issue having it safetied. What exactly is making you think you need a fake safety to insure your car?
I just am having trouble raising my car because the coils are frozen. I just called simcoe auto and he said that he might be able to do it still but they're going to have to measure it. Idk if that's a yes or notSent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
