I ride a 5150 shifter 160 with Technine baller pro bindings, have a few jacket setups as well. For sure down to do a TTI sesh, however you guys all look 50x better than I am haha.
They're on Donald now, and yes, their edging machine should be at their new location.

I'm a big fan of Boarders Anonymous, the owner is an awesome dude (as well as the rest of their staff), but I don't think they do any service there, but they'll point you in the right direction

I was under the impression they did do service. The owner was telling me I would get  free service for the first year after I bought my board.

Oh yeah, forgot about that.. My buddy got his DC board from them..

I was just thinking about edge sharpening and such, wasn't sure if they did that.. They probably just do it by hand.. My bad

Get my fakie legs, learn to butter, do a 360 in both directions, do more jibbing.

I want to finally learn how to hit a jump, and how to land.. Wouldn't mind hitting a simple rail/box either.. Last year I had some stupid trouble on standing up for some reason (sitting on ass, feet strapped in...the pop up), maybe i was just tired..I don't want that to happen again, it was embarrassing.

I want to improve my skill at riding/carving while going fast because it give that really awesome feeling.....

Wouldn't mind learning to ride fakie either.

Continue filming as always, hopefully more street riding than last season. had all the gear to do it last year, generator, lights banshee bungee, just no snow :unamused:

I mostly just want to get used to bigger jumps. I always slow myself down too much when coming up to a jump and it ends up being really lame.

                  Forst thing you can do.
Casing a jump is the worst feelig in the world.
Everyone thinks its less scary to go slower over a jump, but in reality, once you case a jump good one time, you'll realize how much more scary it is to go too slow, then to send it properly.

Really dangerous and can do some serious damage to your knees. Its all about commitment.

I don't know about a big trip, but a one day Frostfire excursion would be easily doable, and fun.

Doesn't need to be a weekend trip or anything. Even just meeting up and going somewhere for the day as mentioned before would be awesome. If we could get a decent group going I would be down for a trip as well, wouldn't be hard to organize.

JordansJR: I've seen your video's before, you are seriously talented dude. I love watching street boarding videos where guys use the bungee, would love to watch/film or shoot you street riding one day! I'd be down to try it as well but I would probably sketch out and get hurt ha.

So I bought these off ebay last night. $120 shipped to Pembina Parcel. Any store in Winnipeg would be $170 plus tax lol.

Right now contemplating on a new back pack. I like the placement for a shovel the right hand side. But would like something that I can also strap the snowboard onto if/when I go climbing in the mountians.

Thanks dude. if you're seriously interested in shooting (photos mostly) get at me during the winter and we could probably set something up. I've been wanting to get more photos this year, but when you're riding street spots its hard enough as it is to get enough guys to come out. You need minimum 2 to pull the bungee, 1 to ride and 1 to film.

I have a generator and lights this year (had it last year, but there was no snow) so hopefully we'll get out a lot more in the evenings to some street spots now that I don't have school or a part time job.

When i graduated high school,, I was planning to move to the mountains if I didn't get into the course I was on the waiting list for. Red River called me a friday said I had a spot and that classes started monday, so that kinda killed those plans, but it was probably the right choice. Hoping to get out for a week this year, maybe move out there some day.

Currently riding for Westbeach Apparel, Smith Optics, and Endeavor snowboards, and of course the crew me and my friends have started filming together, Nexgen.

That's the board Ill be riding this year.
The "New Standard" 149 from Endeavor. Zero camber, and has the Dow tech2 technology which has the contact points lifted up about 3mm on the nose and tail, so its less catchy like a reverse camber but had more pop than a reverse.

It was a tough decision between reverse camber, and the flat with D2 tech. but I'm pretty excited to give it a shot.
I've always ridden Traditional camber, and was sort of "against" reverse and veiwed it as a "cheater" board, but it seems that lots of companies are leanin towards fazing out the traditional camber, so may as well get used to something like it now.

Super excited for the season, can't wait for the snow to fly, Not that no snows been stopping us from riding though..

Jordan, I'd be down to shoot you or even just help out on a session for sure! I'm far off from a professional photographer, but an extra camera at a shoot can never be a bad thing.

They haven't shipped to Pembina yet. I believe duty is only 5% but will be picking it up along with everything else I have sitting at Pembina Parcel when Frost Fire opens up.

^^How is frost fire? I've never been but apparantly have been missing out. It's on my list of hills to hit this year.

Also, let's see some more videos guys! Good to get motivation before season actually starts.

Far from professional is better than no photos at all hah, so I'm not too concerned.
As you requested, here's an edit I did of last season:
I'm Colin Jakilazek, the one with green union bindings. I did majority of the filming( with a go pro) and all the editing for this video:

I'd like to get 360's and rails, and ski elsewhere than just Springhill all year. Also would like new gear, some new Dalbello boots would be great, and maybe some Klint skis....Oh yeah, I'm a freeskier. Same thing, I just like 2 planks instead of one.

My brother's a really good freeskier, I think he tried a Hippy Killer last year.....It's a unique skier rail move.

Awesome track for that video, Colin. I'm not hardcore enough to start snowboarding before we actually have snow, but I'm sure I'll see you guys at Springhill this winter. Look for the bright yellow board attached to the dude faceplanting at the bottom of the hill.
