Awesome track for that video, Colin. I'm not hardcore enough to start snowboarding before we actually have snow, but I'm sure I'll see you guys at Springhill this winter. Look for the bright yellow board attached to the dude faceplanting at the bottom of the hill.
If a car is shows that a solid effort was made, and the car is reasonably well executed I can respect that. Even if it's not my cup of tea..
I'm not a fan of blowing for a long time anyways ; )
^^How is frost fire? I've never been but apparantly have been missing out. It's on my list of hills to hit this year.
Does anyone have experience with D3O padding? It's the kind that's soft and flexible but hardens upon impact. Demon makes some shorts with D3O in the tailbone area, and after hitting my tailbone on rails last year, I'm considering getting some. Does it really work? Or am I better off just getting thicker foam padding?
That is basicly my biggest fear of snowboarding haha. Falling on your tailbone hurts on just ice or hard patches if you catch edge, I can't imagine how much it would suck on a rail!
Coming up or just past? Cuz last time I looked out the window there's no snow!
Firelizard needs some Union goodies.
I've also got some cheap bindings that are still good for sale I'm super pumped, I need to do my ritualistic dewaxing of my board.
Dewaxing? Do you dislike factory waxes as well?
Like remove the old wax from my board and start fresh? It's this **** you spray on and it makes the wax come off easier..Instead of just putting new wax on top of last years waxMy board is like 5-6 years old
ohhh haha.I thought you were referring to removing some of the factory wax on a new board.Hate that sh*t, too slippery hahaI've never waxed any board I own, and they usually see more concrete than a car.
Lol probably why you have a fat stack of old boards
Jibbing = no wax?I tried going snowboarding once without a waxed board...kept bailing so hard...I could barely move that night because I was so sore.
anyone wanna maybe go to Assessippi for a weekend?
