Awesome track for that video, Colin. I'm not hardcore enough to start snowboarding before we actually have snow, but I'm sure I'll see you guys at Springhill this winter. Look for the bright yellow board attached to the dude faceplanting at the bottom of the hill.

made me lol.

        Does anyone have experience with D3O padding? It's the kind that's soft and flexible but hardens upon impact. Demon makes some shorts with D3O in the tailbone area, and after hitting my tailbone on rails last year, I'm considering getting some. Does it really work? Or am I better off just getting thicker foam padding?

            That is basicly my biggest fear of snowboarding haha. Falling on your tailbone hurts on just ice or hard patches if you catch edge, I can't imagine how much it would suck on a rail!

              lol it was not a nice experience. No serious damage done but I still would like to avoid it in the future.

                        If anybody wants a cheap board to start on, or just to thrash, I've put my Sims/Morrow setup up for sale in the Classifieds section. Firelizard needs some Union goodies.

                            I'm pumped.  20cm will be a great start to the season.  Pack it down, blow some more on top, and we should have a good local year.  Of course, that's assuming it doesn't all melt.

                            I'll need to bust out my new snowblower too!

                                  Factory wax on my forum was the worst.

                                  I would be doing that again, not without bringing wax with me

                                          Jibbing = no wax?

                                          I tried going snowboarding once without a waxed board...kept bailing so hard...I could barely move that night because I was so sore.

                                            LMAO. nah, those ones are all missing edges, sidewalls, or are de-lamming or snapped. All still rideable, but why use an old baord when you can get new ones :lol:

                                            Not so much.
                                            Always just been affraid of burning through my base, and I guess I just get used to riding boards with no wax.
                                            Usually don't have much issues with it being slow, either than in spring time, but who doesn't have issues then.

                                                I'm wanting to go for a couple of days between December 19-22. Which I guess isn't really a weekend lol but that's when I'd be there if I do go.
