We should have a truck meet. Benz truck looks so nice and streetfocus and I have the same truck. I can't only imagine what other gems are out there.

Well guys. After a 15 hour day, I got the truck done. Would have been done after 8 but the ball joints would NOT come out at all. Hammered them for days. Nothing. Had to go buy a ball joint clamp and on the second one broke the clamp getting it out. But we got it.
New rear drums and pads are in
                  Add a leaf in
                  Torsten bar crank done
                  Ball joints
                  Tirods
                  CV axles
                  Glad that's over!

After taking measurements looks like the rear of the truck going off the wheel well sits 2 inches higher than the front. Going off the body line it's only an inch. The front has settled already. The rear leaf will probably take a month or so to sit into a more natural position so that gap will get closer

Here we go guys. Don't know if it's because of the angle or what but the front doesn't look that lifted at all. But I did crank the Torsten bars up and I didn't max them out but others online have got a good 2.5-3 inches from the same crank so I assume mine must be similar and the rear end being higher is just throwing it off.

The rear will take a little bit longer to settle in, but a week max should be enough.

Park on level ground, then measure from the top of the tire, to the bottom of the middle of the wheel arch. That takes out any variance in tire height. Even though of its level tire height shouldn't be off much.

Why does no one sell freaking leaf spring bushings. Gosh darn. Trying to install my shackles, one bolt is completely siezed in the bushing.

Can easily drill the rubber out to get it out but then I'd need a new bushing. Hopefully napa has one, they closed before I could call and check but Canadian tire discontinued them, partsource doesn't have any. Sucks.

Hopefully I have a decent one in some old leaf springs I have sitting at home. So frustrating when everything else works flawlessly, but then one bolt refuses to cooperate.

More flex, stronger, can hold more weight. Its a win win win.

No idea, rough guess would be 42" from ground to center of wheel well opening. I guess I could measure from ground to rockers tonight.

35" tires are about 34.5" mounted. And top of tire to top of wheel arch opening is about 7.5".
