Required to get an immobilizer installed on my duramax, anyone have a location they would recommend?

Did this once before with my JDM legacy but no one wanted to touch it and that was a pain in the ass.

But at least this one is domestic!

Had mine done at Pembina Dodge. Very clean install, no hacked up ****, they even vacuumed up after they were done and offered to give me a free shuttle to/from my house. Highly recommend.

The '04 WRX was on the list, so I took it to a place called RM Autotech on St. Mary's Rd. I thought they did a good job, they were all really friendly. The guys were 'mirin hard and were shocked it was actually my car. But no complaints! I'd recommend them.

x2 for RM as well. They did magner's old turbo neon back in the day and worked around the megasquirt and all his other electronic pieces. Did a very clean install as well. (I ripped the car apart with him and saw their work, very well done.)

Yes, I had my beater neon done at Pembina Dodge because I was a very regular customer there for parts for quite some time and always had terrific service from the parts guys. Figured I'd give them a shot for service. Couldn't be happier and they did a smashing job. Tucked the unit well into the dash and out of the way. All connections were made properly and not hacked.

Thanks for the input, anyone heard anything bad about a GM dealer installing one? I figure someone particularly familiar with the truck,

Ended up going with RM autotech, looks good so far, different kind of fob and such..

Doesn't have a red master fob, uses an override code instead.

                                Install took 6 hours though

Just bought a vehicle that needs an immobilizer. Can any one recommend a place to go to have this installed? Preferably in the North Kildonan area, or closer to that, but not completely necessary.

Only bumping this as there may be a better recommendations than what was posted 5 years ago.
