Please post where you go for alignments and your experience there.
How much $$$ does this place charge for a 4-wheel alignment?
Which places work on really lowered cars?

This should help answer most of the alignment questions that have been popping up here and there.

I got the alignment for my skyline done at kal tire on kenaston. That's where gonzo gets his stuff done so I figured they could do more jdms. Cost 100 bucks for a 4 wheel alignment

100$ that's a good price.most dealerships cost like 120+ but if your car is lowerd tell them so they can make it so it fits up the ramps

^ I agree. I took my skyline there before but I had to wait like 1.5 hours for them to put my car on the hoist. Reason being is because they only have 1 hoist that can accept lowered cars and it was used at the time, even though I had an appointment. Other than waiting around for so long, everything else went good.

Travis did the guy at Kal Tire give you that $100 rate as a "deal" because of Gonzo? Because I might have done that.. dont remember anymore.

I don't remember the price, as I never got it done, but West End Tire on Dugald was going to align my skyline...they had it up on the machine.

So they will def do rhd and lowered cars.

This is good to know as I should get mine done sooner then later.

Got mine done at Fountain Tire on Fermor. Cost me $90 and they still didn't straighten the wheel. When I confronted them about it they told me they couldn't do it unless I put a new steering box it.  Took it to Fastlane and they fixed the wheel without replacing the box, Did a proper Alignment

I had mine done at Fastlane the last few times, but that was back when Matt was still there.  Not sure that they offer the same discounts since the change over.

It's too bad there's nowhere that does "lifetime alignments" like in the US around here.

east end garage in steinbach. (i work there) lift car on hoist. attach snap-on heads, slide tables under wheels, let car down, align.
the only height issue is getting the arms under the car. but i have wood and a jack for that!
                              $78 for a lowered car
$68 for a regular height ride

I'd love lifetime alingments for my Hilux lol. I wheel it and replace front end parts often. I usually just do my own in my garage with a tape measure and a level, I don't seem to be wearing my tires out.

You probably have alot more flex in your sidewall then a car with nice rims.
