Your 1990 Miata could range from the following classes:

-E-Stock
-STS
-CSP
-SSM

If those are the only mods you have on your car you are in SSM, the turbo kits are only allowed there.

When you register use SSM-S if you have street tires (140 treadwear and above) or SSM-R if you use R-comp tires.

Need help figuring out my class as well
      2010 Genesis Coupe 3.8GT
Only one's I can see fitting are D Stock and ESP.
I will likely be swapping the stock suspension with coilovers in spring so I won't be fitted into the stock class. I'll be running stock wheels/tires this year I think.

Was thinking I could fit into Street Touring but the 3.8 (V6) is not listed there. The 2.0T I believe is.

In this case am I defaulted to ESP?

Excellent question regarding not seeing the V6 Gen coupe under a Street Touring Class car list.

If you look at the end of page 184 under the STX listing it says:
        Quote (selected)
        Sedans & Coupes NOC (nonsports-
        car-based; 4-seat
        minimum; 3.1L to 5.1L normally
aspirated or up to 2.0L forced
        induction)
        NOC= Not otherwise classified

That being said, if you install coilovers you would be in in STX. If you don't install the coilovers you are in D-Stock (provided the rest of the car is also Stock). FYI in STX your Genesis is allowed a maximum of 265mm wide tires and 9" wide wheels.

Also a reminder for everyone, if you do not have a valid WSCC membership you will not be able to run a car class. You will be placed in a raw group.

If you are referring to your turbo Miata yes. With the aftermarket turbo you are automatically kicked out of any Stock, Street Touring or Street Prepared class. It goes straight to Street Modified, provided you follow the other SM rules listed.

Hey Chris, I just want to make sure I have this right.  The new thread wear number for the RS3's does not exclude the tire from my class SMF ? Just from the street stock ?

No not at all. The rules currently state any  tire with a treadwear rating of 140 or higher is considered a "street tire".

The Hankook Rs3 rating is going from 140 to 200. You're good to go for SMF-S. :) If you had tire with a rating under 140 you would be in SMF-R.

Here are some common questions for modifications in Stock Class:

What you can do in Stock Class
                    Cat back exhaust
ONE sway bar upgrade: front OR rear but not both
                    Shift knob
                    Any drop in air filter
                    Any Tire above 140TW
Wheels as long as they are the exact same size as OEM on the car. (offset can be +-6.35mm)
Any shock absorber as long as it is a direct replacement for the car.

What you CAN'T modify in Stock Class:
                    Can't add Short shifters
Can't add an aftermarket intake system like a CAI
Can't instal aftermarket suspension bushings that offer a performance advantage over the OEM. Ex polyurethane replacements for OEM rubber bushings
Can't add aftermarket motor mounts that are stiffer than stock or motor mount inserts
Can't add shifter bushings or short shifters.
Can't add any aftermarket suspension springs
Any do any ECU tuning; no chips, performance reflashes or plug in apps etc

None of the items you listed fit within the rule set of stock.  If you go back to the first page you can determine what class those parts place you in.

Just curious, what class would result from directly upping the boost level in a vehicle that has forced induction from the factory?

Increase the boost level on a car that came from the factory with a turbo or supercharger would place you in Street Prepared (SP). Stock and Street Touring (ST) classes do not allow an increase in boost levels.

                                    SSM (Super Street Modified)
                                    FP (F-Prepared)

Racing seats are allowed in Street Touring (ST) provided they weight more than 25lbs). However Hoods fenders and trunks only become legal in Street Modified. Therefore with your list of modification you would be in SSM.

You never mentioned any information on your fenders, I'm going to assume these are bolt in replacements for the front only. If you had to cut out and replacing the original rear fenders on the S2000 you would be placed in the Prepared category.

                                          Sorry this is is incorrect,

                                          The 2013 rules state:
                                          13.5.A.1
No more than 2 separate external shock damping adjustment controls
                                          are allowed

Double adjustable shocks are allowed in stock classes.

Too early on a Sunday morn ... Just back to check and to change my post.  ;)   Point being the shocks can be adjustable vs. non adjustable stock provided they are the correct fitment for the car they are installed on.

Bump, made some changes in the original posts:

-RAW class no longer exists. If you do not sign up for a car class you will be marked as "Not Yet Classed" (NYC). A reminder, if you don't have a WSCC membership you cannot sign up for a car class, you are limited to NYC.

-All JDM/imported cars are legal for Street Modified, provided the car meets all the rules set in Street Modified (page 107). If you don't meet the Street Modified rules sign up for E-Mod. No JDM/RHD/import is legal for Stock, Street Touring, Prepared or Street Prepared.

How to find your correct Street Modified Class:
                                              Any FWD= SMF
Any car that was originally built as a 2 seater = SSM
                                              Anything else = SM
