I thought the new Si was supposed to be faster...
    205hp/192 ft-lbs.

Increased torque is nice though.. electronic suspension ("active damper system") is dank. No vtec though. Couple websites say it's going to come with 235/40/18s so looks like the scrapped the 19s from the prototype.

    25-27k ish range.

That's a bit disappointing all around. At least the old ones were fun to rev the piss out of...

can confirm, revving the piss out of mine is fun af, and my redline isn't even that high.

From what I've seen yeah. Heard some mixed reviews on their Canadian shipping however so I'd probably border if if I ordered from them.

                          I've seen http://torontohondaparts.com/ but I haven't bought from there.
I usually just go see Sean @ Honda on Regent since he gives TTI (or used to?) members a 10-20% discount... I can't remember the exact number tbh

Hmm looks like over 40% higher prices even when factoring, exchange duty & additional tax.
Looks like majestic shipped to ND is still the best bet.

I've been building a list - prices between HondaPartsnow and Majestic are pretty close. Majestic tends to charge more for the little stuff and less for the bigger ticket items. It was about a $3 difference between the two at $300 USD of product and $10 difference at $600, Majestic being the cheaper one. I'd have to see what the shipping costs end up to make the call.

So, pretty sure these are the new HFP wheels for the new Si.

College Hills Honda lists them as 19", but since they're not on Honda's website, not 100% sure.

I like them over the usual Si wheels

Canadian pricing for the new Si is out.

                                        Sedan is $30,260
                                        Coupe is $30,660

Kinda high.. Was expecting it to be around the $25k range, but I guess since it now as a  :zpin: turbo  :zpin: they want to charge more for it.

Also.. According to Honda's website 205hp@7.5k, 192ft-lbs@5k, regular turbo civic is 174hp@6k, 162ft-lbs@1700-5500. I think it's the same engine though, not like before where you got a K20/K24 instead of the R18.

It doesn't come with any of the Honda safety stuff that the other higher-trims do such as "Collision Mitigation Braking System", "Forward Collision Warning", "Lane Departure Warning", "Road Departure Mitigation", or "Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC)2 with Low-Speed Follow (HS*)", or "Lane Keeping Assist System".

Doesn't have automatic wipers, or LED turn signals on the mirrors, or even the remote engine starter that the EX,EX-T and Touring come with.

Lastly, on Honda Canada's website there isn't the $200 option for summer tires which is lame.

Maybe by the time I get back from Keewatinohk there will be some here to test drive.

                                            true.

Lot less room though, and I feel like it would be a worse winter car although I'm probably wrong.

Test drove the new Si just now.

Sport mode was cool, very noticeable. Didn't like how you cannot hear the engine at all, clutch was super..super...suuuuper soft. When I first got in I almost put my foot through the floor.

Turbo is fun though, accelerates quick, handles pretty well.

                                              Not sold on it though.

Back when the 8th gen Si came out, everybody's first mod was an obnoxiously loud exhaust. I imagine it will be the same with this generation. I hope not though. Maybe the slightly higher price will deter some of the less mature fart can enthusiasts.

salesman told me that people have improved the engine noise with an aftermarket downpipe.

It's the same engine as the regular civic turbo, which is a bit cheaper.. so more people will go for that one, even though the Si has better suspension, and other things.
