Thats pretty cool. ya i can tell that you were on the throttle more. And for that 2nd hair pin are you saying that i shouldnt take the exit so wide?
In the picture above, the case on the right is hitting an early apex, the one in the middle is a late apex, and the one on the left is the actual geometric apex. For hairpins that have somewhat of a straight section after like hairpin 2. I like to hit a late apex because I get to be on the throttle earlier (where the X
is) leading to having an overall faster exit and carrying higher speed throughout the next straight section. While if you choose to take an early apex you'll be faster at corner entry but you'll sacrifice the corner exit and speed on the straight after because you're gonna have to be later on the throttle (X
). So what I'm saying is that for hairpin 2 I feel that you end up with a faster overall lap time if you late apex it. Actually, I in any corner usually the default thing to do it to late apex it unless otherwise is needed.
So to answer your question, I think you're hitting the apex a little early thus forcing yourself to a wide exit.
I give up on trying to beat Mohamed.
x2. Im in the wrong league
Actually if this pattern continues, I would bet on Travis to win this league. I'll be out of town when the next event (Jan 2) comes around. So if he comes first in that event and I come back for the next two events. Assuming I win and he makes both events and places 2nd in both of them, he would end up with 105 points and I would end up with a 100 points. But if for example Shaun wins the next event that would probably screw Travis over for winning the league. As I said this all under the assumption I keep winning.
