So here's some progress while she was at the powder coating shop

Sandblasted, after the first time

Under coater didn't come off

So I had to do it manually with an angle grinder and a wire wheel

Walked into the shop, to see my car sandblasted again, and already powder coated (interior, under carriage, wheel wells, engine bay)

She's coming home on Wednesday, and I'll start prepping the outside for paint. So stoked the worst part is already taken care of!!

Wow man, that's wild!! Do you mind sharing what the cost was to fully sand blast and powdercoat the car?

They quoted me $1100-1200. My friend that owns Central Sandblasting in Winnipeg does it for around $1000, and he actually has a rotisserie and does them often. This was Envirotech's first time powder coating a car

$1000 for an entire car is amazing. Ride charges $500-$900 just for a set of wheels!

looks awesome abe. are you keeping the car all white?

Made a career change two weeks ago. Now working at the Honda dealership in my city... which means employee pricing on parts!

Anyway, pressed in my new Koyo wheel bearings, and I had to get new retainers

Installed my inner tie rods, and dust boots today, also installed Energy Suspension bushings on the steering rack

Only new oem hardware and Downstar going on my build. Downstar steering rack kit

Steering rack mounted to subframe, need some more Downstar hardware for the tie bar

Since I restored my pedals, old stoppers were no longer good enough.

Thanks Al, since I took a new job, and a 40% pay cut, im thinking Driven 2020. Lol, hoping to paint it yet this year, then slowly re-assemble, and either purchase all new hardware, or cough up the money to get equipment to zinc coat my bolts

                                      Not much of an update.

Cleaned up and put the hardlines back on the steering rack

Traded a set of lug nuts for some pretty mint EG6 floor mats
