Planning on bringing my wheels to villain to get it powder coated just waiting on my center caps to arrive.

question though, does he cover the whole rim with color or just what's visible outside?

reason I'm asking is because before I had my rims done at winnipeg wheel works and they didn't cover the whole rim, and I noticed that on Igor's post and tony's the whole rim was coated but on @Juan's it wasn't. so does he ask you if you want the whole rim covered or not?

Do you mean the inside barrel? mine was about 90-95% covered. There was a small section of wheel that was not covered but it's covered by the tire anyways. I'm sure he wouldn't have a problem covering the whole wheel if you asked.

When he did mine he covered the whole wheel. He needed to do two coats on the face and back however only did one on the barrel. He didn't clear the barrel but I don't see why anyone would bother.

yes the inside barrel, I hope he doesn't charge extra for covering the entire wheel.

I didn't ask him to do it. After looking at the wheels again it seems like the barrels are more then 95% covered. There are a couple spots that aren't as dark. There are pictures of the wheels here http://toptierimports.com/index.php?topic=8843.125
As well as this is the barrel, the line across is just from the wire he hung the wheel with.

your wheels turned out really good! he was able to replicate the color well. I guess just let him know all the details you want that way he won't miss any portion of the wheels again. but all in all still good work.

nice! is it really a matte finish or it's just in the picture?

I will be dropping off my wheels to him this week, the last time I talked to him he said turn around time would a week or less so hopefully I can get it back within the time frame.

He's really backed up right now, still catching up to existing orders.

My experience with PauL started a bit off as it took him almost 5 weeks instead of the agreed 2 week deadline.
Businesses do get busy but a part of doing business is managing your customers expectations when you canít meet them.
But as soon as my wheels were done, I wasnít even mad anymore.
He did a super awesome job.
I had a bad curb rash on one of the wheels, now Iím not 100% sure which one it was because they all look perfect.  250$ for a set of huge wheels.
                                          Canít beat that!
