Reminds me I need to do both my cars :/ . Forester has a small dent from Japan that chipped the paint, and the Leaf has a scratch where the girlfriend dragged the child seat :/ :/ :/

Took me about half an hour, fun weekend job. Went down to the shop, cranked up the tunes and banged er out pretty quick. It's nice when a job goes as planned and none of the bolts are rusted or seized.

eh, I havent had the upper control arms off in ages and the pinch bolt was fine. I always try and remember to use anti-seize on the threads of stuff when I have it apart.

Changed out the joints on my front driveshaft.

less clunky now. Still something clunking a tiny bit though in 4x4. which sucks because that probably means the front diff gear have some teeth chipping/missing. I do need to re-gear it but was hoping to wait till summer. we'll see how it goes.

Apparently 4.56 still doesnít feel quite adequate though and guys recommend 4.88. Plus also gives you a bit of room for 37s one day

I don't want my highway RPM's to be that high though, 4.88 will bump that up a bit. Stock final drive is perfect IMO. it wont be *quite* as punchy due to slight added weight of tires, but really wont be much difference vs stock. and stock I could chirp the tires from a stop on pavement. Thats plenty enough gearing for me. I dont pay attention to what the internet says half the time because 9 times out of ten it's just "my buddy has this and says this" lol

I did the math, 4.56 will be perfect for my uses and pretty damn close to stock. plus if I stick with the 33's for winter, 4.88 would be way too much.

I was under the impression that you were going 35s for winter and considering 37s for summer.

And ďchirpĒ the tires .. lol with my stock 31s I can do a 10 ft burnout with my gears. Maybe I have defective or overly hard tires.

replaced headlights. Low beams didn't work at all, and 3 out of 4 (headlights and corner lights) lights were held in with zip ties from when my cousin smashed into a deer with my truck. Finally got new lights and slapped em in tonight

New ones look too clean and shiny to be on my truck...
