Is there a reason for a vs b vs c? Or just arbitrary? I really don't care, just wondering how they lined up.
It's based on approximate power/speed of a car. There are 3 run groups that go out in 10 minute intervals.
Group A runs, B is staged, C is just chillin in the pits with your squad
Group B Runs, C is Staged, A is chillin in the pits with your squad
Group C runs... etc etc etc
They are grouped off to minimize the need for passing. Putting a bone stock econobox in the same group as a 911 Turbo would be bad news,
Group A will be the higher power and performance specific models (STI/Evo)
Group B will be your average "sports car" type of vehicle (avg weight/avg power)
Group C is econobox/light weight vehicles
Last year, Group A consisted of a Corvette ZR1, the lowly BRZ, M3, 911, Camaro SS, 370Z, Evo, STI, etc etc
