Since my car came with factory privacy glass that can't be removed Vehicle Standards wants me to put in another third brake light that isn't behind my rear window. I don't really want to put on the factory IS300 trunk spoiler or cut a hole in anything, would there be a way to wire in an led bar under a roof spoiler? Or should I just wire something through the trunk and stick it on the back window?

Interesting. There are so many cars with factory tint driving around. Why would they care suddenly?

Does the factory tint cover the third brake light? Apparently that isn't allowed :unamused: If there are examples of that existing in North America I could bring it to them...

You can buy led strips/light bars on ebay and can wire them to your brake lights but you would have to run a power/ground, so you might have to make a small hole or try to tuck it along the window seam.

I've tried to find an LED strip that's DOT rated but can't find anything. Might just get a bar from princess auto for a temp setup.
